Enrolled Nurses

Our Enrolled Nurses work under the guidance of Registered Nurses to deliver skilled nursing care and support, bringing extensive hands-on experience to every visit.

How enrolled nurses fit into your care

Enrolled nurses follow your care plan under the direction of a registered nurse. Depending on your needs, that can include:

  • taking observations such as blood pressure
  • supporting you with your medications
  • wound care and dressings, see wound management
  • supporting you with everyday health routines

Working with the wider team

Enrolled nurses work closely with our registered nurses and support workers, and let the registered nurse know about any changes in your health. See all of our nursing services.

Checking registration

Enrolled nurses in Australia must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia to practise. You can check on the public register of practitioners on the Ahpra website.

Enrolled nurses: questions
