Leading your nursing care
A registered nurse assesses your health needs, plans your nursing care and guides the wider team, including enrolled nurses and support workers, so care stays safe and consistent. See all of our nursing services.
Your first nursing visit
A first visit usually starts with a conversation about your health, and it helps to have information from your GP or specialists to hand so that your nursing care fits with the rest of your treatment. Our initial enquiry and assessment explains how we begin.
Registered with Ahpra
Registered nurses in Australia must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia to practise. You can check a nurse’s registration on the public register of practitioners on the Ahpra website.
Registered nurses: questions
Can nursing care be funded through the NDIS or Support at Home?
It can be, depending on your circumstances and what your plan or approval allows. See our funding options or call us and we will talk it through.
