Specialised Support coordination
Specialised support coordination is a higher level of support for NDIS participants whose situation is more complex, or who face significant barriers or risks, and who need extra help to put supports in place.
How specialised support coordination can help
If it is included in your plan, specialised support coordination can include:
- looking closely at your situation and the barriers or risks involved
- building a plan and connecting you with the right specialists and providers
- helping different services and supports work together
- helping you resolve problems as they come up
- building your confidence to manage your own supports over time
When it may be right for you
Not everyone needs specialised support coordination. If you are unsure which level of support coordination suits you, start with our support coordination page or talk to us.
Understanding your plan
Your plan says which supports you have funding for. Our NDIS services page explains how we work, and the NDIS website has official information.
