Why it matters

Diabetes is a long-term condition that many people manage every day. The day is a chance to learn more, check in on your own health and support family and friends who live with diabetes. Diabetes Australia has more on World Diabetes Day.

How nursing support can help

Our nurses can help people manage diabetes at home, including insulin and other injections, medication management and chronic disease management. Our dietitians can help with food and nutrition.
